We accept only items that are clean and in good repair. We’re sorry, but we can’t accept the following items due to their size, disposal costs, hazardous components, ability to sell and/or liability issues.

  • Carpet or room-sized rugs
  • Children’s inexpensive costume jewelry (may contain lead)

  • Flotation or water/safety devices for children (can contain phthalates which are harmful chemicals)

NOTE: Starting July 1, 2015, Hennepin County now charges $10 for TVs, computer monitors and laptops.
