Arc's Value Village 2008 Volunteer Banquet
The annual volunteer banquet took place on Saturday, April 12 at the Marriott
Minneapolis West. Fun was had by all attending. A great lunch and program was
centered around the theme "Chicken Soup for the Soul". Author Susan McMullan
was the guest speaker. Susan talked about the lessons we can learn from people
with disabilities in a poignant story that she wrote about her son Ryan who has
Downs syndrome. The story is published in the book, Chicken Soup for the Soul –
Children with Special Needs.
