Deb Bergman
2010 Volunteer of the Year
Value Village Brooklyn Center Volunteer

Deb started volunteering with the Wells Fargo sort-a-thon groups and then began as a volunteer for Richfield Value Village. When she heard we were opening a store in St. Paul, she offered her services to our temporary production site, volunteering 1-2 times a week helping to unpack & tag clothing. Once the store opened in November 2009, she had filled out a volunteer application and officially became Value Village St. Paul’s first regular volunteer! Deb volunteered a total of 136 hours as a regular VVSP volunteer. She also made a point to attend nearly every scheduled Wells Fargo sort-a-thon hosted at all 4 stores in 2010. She attended 16 in 2010 for an additional 32 hours. She also volunteered for 2 shifts at the 2010 "A Celebration of Sorts", contributing 6 volunteer hours.
