In recognition of April’s National Volunteer Month, we are offering Rewards points for every volunteer shift worked April 1-30. Volunteers will earn 250 points for every volunteer shift completed (shift must be at least 2 hours). Volunteer as many times as you’d like in April and earn more points!
Promotion begins Friday, April 1, 2016 and ends Saturday, April 30, 2016. Eligible volunteers can earn 250 points for every shift completed in April. Volunteer must complete full shift (9am-12pm; 1-4pm; 4-6pm; 6-8pm). There is no limit on the number of volunteer shifts a person can complete in April 2016.
Excludes community service and court-mandated volunteers. Individuals must be at least 18 years old to be eligible to join Village Rewards program and earn points.
It’s easy and fun to volunteer at Arc’s Value Village! More than 4,000 people volunteer with us every year. We have the following shifts available for individuals or groups:
- 9 am to noon
- 1 pm to 4 pm
- 4 pm to 6 pm
- 6 pm to 8 pm
Help us sort, organize and get items ready for sale. You’ll be unpacking donations; hanging and tagging clothes; putting price stickers on books, dishes and other hard goods; testing small appliances to make sure they work, and more.
Volunteering with us is fun! We welcome:
- Church, community or service groups
- Businesses and corporate groups
- Youth who need to fulfill school or church volunteer requirements
Bring your friends – or make new friends!
Fun and Flexible
We’re open 7 days a week and we need your help. Many shifts and opportunities are available. You’ll have our sincere thanks – and the thanks of thousands of people with developmental disabilities and their families who depend on the programs you’ll help support.
Giving back to your community has never been so easy and enjoyable! We have volunteers who give us 100 hours a year, and others who give us 5. We’re thankful for every single one of them.
Our valued volunteers truly are the hands and hearts of Arc’s Value Village. So come “boogie in the backroom” or “samba on the sales floor” with us!
