Spring
Fling began March 10th!
Bright pastels are everywhere during Arc’s Value Village Spring Fling! Easter
bunnies, chicks, grass, eggs, knick-knacks, and baskets are plentiful. Here is
a great idea to put together a basket featuring items from Value Village that
your child will love:
The Easter Bunny has left you a surprise!
This playful Easter basket focuses on fun and activity – not necessarily on
candy. While wearing his/her very own rabbit ears, your child will love dyeing
hard-boiled eggs with the Paas coloring kit. Use the stickers to decorate too!
Discover yummy treats hidden in the Easter eggs. Pick your child’s favorite
snacks: animal crackers, raisins, Cheerios or other cereal, tiny marshmallows,
and other healthier treats you may have in the house. Or put tiny toys in the
eggs like small cars, whistles, a necklace etc. Read a special Easter story,
Little Chick (not shown, is in the back of the basket). Place a trinket such as
a small frame into the larger Easter egg that you can put your child’s photo
into to commemorate the day. As a finishing touch, add a colorful ribbon and/or
cellophane.
