Arc’s Blue Trucks Arrive in Lakeville
Support People with Disabilities by Donating to Arc’s Used Goods Pickup Service
MINNEAPOLIS – Lakeville residents have been asking when Arc’s Used Goods Pickup
Service would arrive in their community. Their wish is coming true! For the
first time, Arc’s blue trucks will drive through Lakeville neighborhoods
looking for donations that will help fund Arc Greater Twin Cities’ programs for
children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their
families.
The trucks will be in Lakeville from Monday, March 26, through Wednesday, April
4. Many households received postcards with the designated date the trucks will
be driving down their street. If you did not get a postcard, but would like to
schedule a curbside stop at your house or would like more information about
pickups in your area, call (612) 866-8820 or visit www.bluetrucks.org for
details.
Arc's familiar blue trucks make nearly 250,000 stops per year to collect
donations from households throughout the Twin Cities. Arc accepts clean
clothing, accessories, housewares & small appliances, linens & crafts,
kids clothing & toys, books, magazines, music & movies, home décor
& accessories, art and collectibles!
Donations collected by Arc's Used Goods Pickup Service are sold to a for-profit
donation purchaser. Proceeds from this revenue support Arc Greater Twin Cities
programs and services.
