Make Room in Your Garage for Your ‘New Toys’
– Donate
Your Old Boat or RV to Autos for Arc October 14 & 15
MINNEAPOLIS – If you’ve been longing for some new motorized “toys” but your
garage is too full, make room by donating your old vehicles to Autos for Arc
October 14 & 15 at Arc’s Value Village Thrift Stores and participating
MarineMax boat dealers. You’ll be helping out a worthy cause, and you might
just win a free trip!
All kinds of vehicles are welcome – boats, trailers, campers, motorcycles,
snowmobiles, trucks and cars. Everyone who stops by the seven drop-off
locations during this special donation event can enter a prize drawing for Sun
Country airline tickets.
Car lovers who come to Arc’s Value Village in Richfield from noon – 2:00 p.m.
on Sunday, October 15, can also meet Paul Brand. Nationally-known auto expert,
troubleshooter, race-car driver and leading Midwest instructor of law
enforcement pursuit driving, Brand is also the host of KSTP-AM’s AutoTalk show,
the only Twin Cities radio show devoted to automobiles.
Whether or not you win the Sun Country tickets, you still get great benefits
when you donate a vehicle to Autos for Arc. You get a tax deduction for the
sale price of your vehicle – always useful when tax time rolls around! You can
also feel good because your donation makes a difference for people with
intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families through the
programs and services of Arc Greater Twin Cities.
