17 Local Residents Honored for Outstanding
Volunteer Service at Arc’s Value Village in 2005
MINNEAPOLIS – Arc Greater Twin Cities and Arc’s Value Village Thrift Stores
salute 17 exceptional volunteers who have qualified for the 300 Club at Arc’s
Value Village by contributing 300 or more hours of service at the Richfield
store in 2005.
The 17 members of the 300 Club are:

In addition, there are 11 more volunteers who qualified for the 300 Club by
volunteering at Arc’s Value Village stores in New Hope and Brooklyn Center.
Collectively, these 28 individuals contributed 12,101 hours of volunteer
service at Arc’s Value Village stores in 2005.
Volunteers are essential to the success of Arc’s Value Village Thrift Stores,
which are a major source of funding for the programs and services of Arc
Greater Twin Cities. About 75% of the stores’ workforce is volunteers, enabling
Arc’s Value Village to return more of its proceeds to Arc for its work in the
community.
Arc Greater Twin Cities, a United Way community partner, is the only grassroots
organization serving children and adults with intellectual and developmental
disabilities and their families from birth to death in the Twin Cities
metropolitan area. Now in its 60th year, Arc works to secure opportunities for
individuals and families to live, learn, work and play as they choose. For more
