Great Ways to Donate

Arc’s Value Village Thrift Stores and Donation Centers are grateful for the support of our shoppers, donors and volunteers. Because of your generosity, Arc’s Value Village Thrift Stores and Donation Centers can provide a significant source of funding to Arc Greater Twin Cities, a non-profit serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.

Ways to help:

Donate clothing and household items: Arc’s Value Village Thrift Stores & Donation Centers accept clean clothing and household items 7 days a week. [Items we accept]

Donate your vehicle: Autos for Arc accepts cars and trucks in any condition. Drive up and drop off seven days a week at Arc’s Value Village Thrift Stores & Donation Centers. Autos for Arc also accepts in operating condition: boats with trailers, snowmobiles, ATVs, RVs, golf carts, personal watercraft, motorcycles and more. Autos for Arc will provide a free pickup in the metro area. Donated vehicles are sold at auction and the proceeds help Arc Greater Twin Cities provide programs and services to people with disabilities. [more about Arc] Donors are provided a receipt at the time of the donation and a letter to verify the sales price for tax purposes. For questions, please call our Autos for Arc hotline at 612-866-8820.

Donation drives: Your workplace, church, school, club or other group can assist by hosting a donation drive. General clothing and household items drives are most common but you can host your drive for specific items including books, children’s items or holiday decorations (or other items) – it’s up to you and the interests of your group. Please contact our Donation Manager, Matt Bee at 952-915-3635.

Product donations: If your workplace has excess inventory or other merchandise to liquidate, Arc can offer great service and a convenient outlet for your items. Arc’s Value Village Thrift Stores and Donation Centers provide pick ups for business donations and appropriate documentation for tax purposes. Please contact our Donation Manager, Matt Bee at 952-915-3635.

Matching Gifts: When volunteering through your workplace, ask if your company provides a matching gift. Many companies will provide matching gifts for their employees who volunteer. If you have any questions about matching gifts through your workplace, please contact your company’s Human Resources representative.
